Mike Skilling

Mike Skilling is an experienced financial and business leader currently serving as an Independent Director at SBS Bank, where Mike is involved in multiple committees including Audit and Risk, Board Appointments, and Credit. Since 2017, Mike has been the Advisory Board Chair at Global Financial Services Ltd, a major mortgage and insurance brokerage, and has held director and ownership roles in various organizations, including Hastings St South Limited and FANZ - Funds Administration NZ Ltd, where Mike is also Chair. With a background in business insurance and motor vehicle finance, Mike has demonstrated expertise in agribusiness through positions at Waitatapia Farms Ltd and has previously held senior leadership roles at PGG Wrightson Ltd and the Bank of New Zealand, where Mike led substantial teams and innovative financial initiatives.
