Global Forest Generation
Florent Kaiser serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Global Forest Generation since 2019, leading initiatives aimed at large-scale forest ecosystem restoration in the Andes through the #AccionAndina project. In addition, Florent is the Executive Director of a new non-profit focused on global forest restoration efforts and has been an Advisory Board Member for 1t.org since January 2020, supporting the World Economic Forum’s Trillion Tree campaign. As a Senior Landscapes & Regenerative Business Advisor at Ejido Verde, Florent focuses on implementing regenerative business practices to restore degraded lands and support local communities. Previous roles include a Consultant for GIZ GmbH, Program & Business Development Manager at Nature Services Peru, and communications coordination for the Global Landscapes Forum at CIFOR. Florent's expertise encompasses international forestry, climate change, and stakeholder engagement, supported by a Bachelor of Science in International Forestry and Environment from The University of Freiburg.

Global Forest Generation (GFG) is on a mission to achieve large-scale regeneration of threatened forest ecosystems. Our programs provide measurable progress in combatting climate change, saving water and biodiversity, and alleviating poverty. GFG's focus is fully aligned with the priorities of the recently announced United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration 2021-2030, promoting aggressive restoration programs that can strengthen climate resillence.
