Eric Worrall has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Eric started their career at Electronic Automation Limited as an Application Engineer, where they successfully managed and delivered the Marconi "Dome Vote" reader project. Eric then moved on to Marconi Data Systems, where they held the position of Applications Manager, leading a team in the development of a connectivity platform. Following this, Eric joined Videojet as a Senior Software Engineer, where they designed and developed an ultra high-speed embedded DSP based servo controller board. Eric later joined Canon Europe Ltd. as a Product Specialist before assuming various roles at Global Graphics Software. At Global Graphics Software, Eric served as a Technical Support Specialist and a Technical Consultant before taking on more senior positions, including Director of Digital Document Technologies and Vice President of Products and Services. In these roles, they led multiple teams and played an instrumental role in bringing innovative products and services to the market.

Eric Worrall obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Automatic Speech Recognition and Speech Reading from the University of Leicester from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, they completed a BEng degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Leicester from 1990 to 1994. In terms of certifications, Eric Worrall is a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance, acquired in 2021, and they are also Pragmatic Marketing Certified from Pragmatic Marketing/Institute, obtained in 2011.
