Jake Morris

Jake has had a wide variety of experiences in finance, consulting, and law. At Global Growth, Jake works as an M&A and Debt Capital Markets Vice President, as well as assistant general counsel. In these roles, he executes all aspects of the M&A process including sourcing acquisition targets, deal evaluation, due diligence, legal, and final sign-off of acquisitions, and reporting directly to the CEO on same. He also works to raise capital for portfolio companies and accelerates the growth of Global Growth’s start-up ventures.

Prior to joining Global Growth, Jake was an M&A and corporate attorney. His practice focused on transactional matters including mergers and acquisitions, company financing, angel and venture investing, and corporate governance and contract matters. His clients include newly formed businesses to established companies operating in a variety of industries, as well as private equity firms.

Prior to his time spent as an attorney, Jake worked in boutique investment banks where he carried out buy- and sell-side merger and acquisition transactions, as well as raising capital for clients. He also performed several company valuations across multiple industries.

Jake is licensed to practice law in Georgia and New York. He also is a member of the Georgia, New York, and Atlanta bar associations.
