Mike Ballard

Michael Ballard is an experienced intelligence professional currently serving as the Director of Intelligence at Global Guardian, LLC since January 2015. In this role, Michael has developed and managed intelligence analysis and monitoring capabilities, creating custom intelligence products such as security threat assessments and background investigations. Previously, Michael held the position of Global Intelligence Analyst at UnitedHealth Group Global Risk from February 2013 to January 2015, focusing on analyzing global developments affecting client operations. Earlier experience includes working as a Research Intern for the Foundation for Defense of Democracies and as a Congressional Intern for Congressman Patrick Murphy. Michael holds a Master of Arts in Diplomacy and International Commerce from the Patterson School and a B.A. in History from the University of Mary Washington.
