Robert Eckford

Robert Eckford is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Director of Data for Health at Global Health Advocacy Incubator since June 2023. Previously, Robert worked as the Associate Director of the International Legal Consortium at the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids from September 2015 to June 2023, providing legal advice and technical assistance in drafting legislation and managing litigation related to tobacco control in lower- and middle-income countries. Earlier roles include serving as a Legal Advisor in the Department of Health at the Government Legal Department from September 2011 to August 2015, a Lawyer for the Official Solicitor and Public Trustee in England and Wales from September 2007 to August 2011, and a Solicitor at Fisher Meredith LLP from September 2002 to September 2007. Robert holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Hertfordshire and is currently completing the Legal Practice Course at The University of Law.
