Jumi Lawal

Jumi Lawal has a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience spanning several companies. Prior to their current role as Director of Finance and Accounting at Global Impact, Jumi served as the Director of Finance at Aligned Orthopedic Partners. Jumi also held the role of Accounting Manager at Global Impact, where they were responsible for managing the company's financial operations. Before joining Global Impact, Jumi worked as a Senior Accountant at both Retina Group Of Washington and The National Center for Children and Families. Jumi started their career at SOME (So Others Might Eat), where they held positions as both an AR Accountant and an AP Accountant.

Jumi Lawal attended Montgomery College from 2006 to 2008, studying accounting. From 2008 to 2010, they earned a BBA in Accounting from Howard University. Lastly, from 2012 to 2014, Jumi Lawal obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
