John Hughes

John Hughes has over 20 years of work experience in the technology and venture management fields. John began their career in 1997 as the Owner of Webtactix Inc., a small technical marketing and multimedia development organization. In 2000, they became the CIO and Founder of Global Trust Group (also Crimsonica), a venture management firm in Las Vegas, NV. Here, they were responsible for developing and managing the company's investment strategy, communications, and technology. In 2003, they started Mediazure, a company focused on Web 2.0 strategies, information and content management, user experience challenges, and exhibit development. In 2005, they became the Technical Lead for Global Trust Ventures, a private fund company, where they were involved in due diligence of investment opportunities, research into new technology markets, and development and deployment of operational technologies. In 2007, they started Saguaro Professional Services, a company that assists new small businesses with business inception, planning, brand identity, and growth planning. In 2014, they became the Director of Technology for Global Key Advisors, where they were responsible for developing and maintaining technical systems for research and quantitative analysis. John is currently the Managing Partner at ABC Solutions.

John Hughes obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Davis in 1987, majoring in English and Fine Art. In 2017, they obtained a Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance.
