Guillermo De La Fuente is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in treasury and financial management. Currently serving as a member of the Banking Stakeholder Group at the European Banking Authority and Co Chair of the Vendor and Services Providers Group at the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation, Guillermo has held prominent roles including Non Executive Board Member at Factofinance SA, Treasurer at SITA, and EMEA Treasurer at JP Morgan Private Bank. Additional experience includes leadership positions at CERN and GE Plastics, as well as early career roles in project accounting at Fluor. Guillermo's academic background includes an MBA from the University of Houston and a Licenciado in Economics from Universidad de Oviedo.
Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF)
Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) is a not-for-profit organization created to support the implementation and use of the Legal Entity Identifier (LEI). GLEIF services ensure the operational integrity of the Global LEI System. GLEIF also makes available the technical infrastructure to provide, via an open data license, access tothe full global LEI repository free of charge to users. The foundation is overseen by the LEI Regulatory Oversight Committee, which is made up of representatives of public authorities from across the globe. GLEIF is headquartered in Basel, Switzerland.
