Tim Sterker

Tim Sterker has a diverse work experience. Tim started working at Interactive Data in November 2012 as an intern and later became a student worker. During this time, they designed and implemented an Interactive JavaScript Chart and developed a tool to compare tree data structures. Tim then joined Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) in January 2015 as a Developer and eventually became the IT Developer Team Lead in March 2018.

Tim Sterker completed their education in a chronological order. Tim pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Media Computer Science from RheinMain University of Applied Sciences, attending from 2009 to 2013. Following this, they furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Artificial Intelligence from The University of Edinburgh, from 2013 to 2014.

Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF)

Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) is a not-for-profit organization created to support the implementation and use of the Legal Entity Identifier (LEI). GLEIF services ensure the operational integrity of the Global LEI System. GLEIF also makes available the technical infrastructure to provide, via an open data license, access tothe full global LEI repository free of charge to users. The foundation is overseen by the LEI Regulatory Oversight Committee, which is made up of representatives of public authorities from across the globe. GLEIF is headquartered in Basel, Switzerland.
