Nicholette began working in economic development with the South Carolina Department of Commerce, where she worked one-on-one with companies to provide guidance throughout the site selection process and assisted with the expansion of existing industries.
Throughout the process, she worked with communities within South Carolina to identify suitable site locations for companies and communicated potential tax credits and incentives offered by the state and community.
Prior to joining GLS, Nicholette worked for the State of South Carolina Europe Office, located in Munich, Germany, where she recruited jobs and investment to the state throughout Europe. While in Europe, Nicholette worked with companies across 13 countries opening facilities within the United States. She advised on the benefits of doing business in South Carolina and consulted on the steps to opening a foreign-owned facility in the United States.
Nicholette is a graduate of both the University of South Carolina where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Management, and Florida International University, where she received an International Master of Business Administration. She speaks conversational Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.
