Ruben Gonzalez

Ruben Gonzalez has extensive experience in the logistics industry. Ruben currently serves as the Agency Owner-Principal at Landstar Agent - Global Logistics USA since July 2020. Prior to this, they were the President at PALM INTEGRATED LOGISTICS, LLC from June 2019. In this role, Ruben was responsible for transportation planning and maintaining positive relationships with drivers and carriers.

Before that, Ruben worked at DACHSER as the Branch Manager/FSC from May 2018 to May 2019. Ruben oversaw transportation, distribution, and maintenance operations and led a team to deliver cost efficiency and high service levels.

Ruben also has a long tenure at CEVA Logistics, where they served as the Air Export Gateway Manager/CCSP-FSC from October 2007 to May 2018. Ruben successfully developed the Transshipment Re-export product and managed all inbound air imports and air export consolidation activities.

Earlier in their career, Ruben worked as the International Air Export Manager at BAX Global from February 1995 to September 2007. Ruben was responsible for all exports from South Florida to worldwide destinations and managed a team of 21 employees. Ruben also provided sales support and assistance to global accounts.

Ruben Gonzalez is a graduate of Miami Springs Senior High, where they obtained a High School Diploma in General Studies. Additionally, Ruben has obtained several additional certifications throughout their education and career. These certifications include Hazardous Materials Safety and Security Awareness from Nova Southeastern University in April 2020, Hazardous Materials Instructor Training from The Sustainable Workplace Alliance in March 2020, Inventory Management Foundations, Lean Six Sigma Foundations, Logistics Foundations, Careers in Supply Chain and Operations, Key Account Management, Purchasing Foundations, Project Management Simplified, and Strategic Planning Foundations from LinkedIn in 2020 and 2019. Ruben also holds certifications as a Certified Pharmaceutical Industry Professional from Abbott in March 2010, TSA-STA CCSP/IACSSP from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in July 2009, Customs Brokers full course from the Florida Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association, Inc. in April 2006, KARRASS Effective Negotiations from KARRASS Effective Negotiating in July 2003, State of Florida Notary Public in June 2020, and IATA AIR DGR from the Bureau of Dangerous Goods, Ltd. in August 2020.
