David Melville

David Melville has been working at Global Marine Systems Limited since January 2000 as a Cable Engineer and Hydrographic Surveyor. He is also the Chief Cable Engineer at Global Marine Group since the same year. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Inverness College/Stirling University. David received further education from STC Skilltrade in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Additionally, he attended Millburn Academy in Inverness, UK from 1977 to 1983. David specializes in the installation and maintenance of fibre optic telecommunications, power, and windfarm cables, as well as conducting hydrographic surveys using QINSy and EIVA software.
