Nina Bjærum

Nina Bjærum has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Since 2019, they have been with Global Maritime, where they serve as the Discipline Lead for Marine Operations. Prior to their current role, they held the positions of Discipline Lead for Marine Operations Oslo and Senior Project Engineer at the same company. From 2016 to 2020, they were involved with Majorstuen Leiegaarde AS, initially as Vice-chairman and later as Chairman. Additionally, between 2016 and 2019, they worked as a Tender Engineer at Nexans. At Subsea 7, where they worked from 2011 to 2016, they served as an Installation Analysis Engineer, specializing in rigid and flexible pipeline installation analysis for various projects. Nina also gained experience as a Landscaper/Anleggsgartner at Strandman AS from 1998 to 2010. Moreover, they have held board positions at Singsaker Studenterhjem and Singsaker Stundenterhjem and completed a summer internship at SeaFlex Riser Technologies. Prior to their professional career, they worked as an Au Pair in 2005-2006.

Nina Bjærum completed their education at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2006 to 2011, earning a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Applied Mechanics. As an exchange student in 2010, they also studied Mechanical Engineering at UCSB. Prior to university, they attended Greveskogen Videregående Skole from 2002 to 2005, specializing in Studiespesialiserende - Realfag og økonomi.
