Shawn Brown

Shawn Brown has a diverse range of work experience in the software engineering field. Shawn most recently worked at Global Music Rights as the Director of Software Engineering, a position they have held since March 2021. Prior to this, Shawn served as a Sr. Developer at the same company from December 2020 to January 2022.

Before joining Global Music Rights, Shawn had a significant tenure at NBCUniversal, Inc., where they held the role of Principal Engineer from November 2017 to December 2020. Prior to this role, they worked as a Lead Developer from February 2015 to November 2017.

Earlier in their career, Shawn held positions at Kramer-Wilson, Inc. as a Sr. Programmer Analyst from January 2013 to February 2015, and at Technicolor as a Sr. Application Developer from August 2011 to January 2013.

Shawn also worked as an Application Developer III at Bank of America from September 2010 to July 2011, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Guardian Global Technologies, Inc. from May 2008 to August 2010.

Shawn began their career as an Application Engineer at Bank of the West, where they worked from March 2006 to May 2008. Throughout their career, Shawn has demonstrated expertise in various programming languages and technologies, including ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, XML, and Web Services. Shawn has led teams, conducted research, built prototypes, and designed and developed software systems in multiple industries.

Shawn Brown received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from California State University, Los Angeles. Shawn attended the university from 1999 to 2002.
