Currently, Toby works as a Data Engineer at Global Music Rights, where their main focus is on supporting and developing operational and BI data platforms.

Prior to this, Toby worked at Solver for 17 years. During this time, they held the position of Business Intelligence Consultant and was responsible for delivering business intelligence, data warehousing, and financial reporting solutions to clients in various industries. Toby'sday-to-day duties varied between functional and technical roles, with a focus on data warehouse modeling and developing ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

Before joining Solver, Toby worked at Dacor Appliance Corp. as a Financial Business Analyst. In this role, they were responsible for diverse BI and financial systems initiatives, with a main focus on developing and supporting financial reporting, budgeting, and planning applications. Toby also designed and implemented SSAS database and cubes for analyzing and containing product warranty costs.

Prior to Dacor, Toby worked at Solver again, but in the role of Business Intelligence Developer. Toby delivered business intelligence solutions to mid-sized companies and non-profit organizations, conducting meetings with business users to identify requirements and advising clients on the design of budgeting and financial reporting systems.

Toby's early work experience includes a role as an IT Consultant at Datastream, where they provided consulting services and training on purchasing, inventory control, and capital asset tracking software. Toby conducted client meetings, documented requirements, and configured system integrations to Oracle Financials and SAP.
