Vice President, Investments at Global Net Lease

Alex Wagstaff is the Vice President of Investments at Global Net Lease. Alex has over nineteen years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Alex started their career at DTZ in August 1999 as a Director. In this role, they were responsible for managing and advising a variety of institutional and private property owners on the asset management, acquisition and disposal of Shopping Centre, High Street, Factory Outlet, Out of Town and solus retail assets within their portfolio. Alex also advised various national retailers on their property portfolio's, providing valuation, asset management and retail acquisition/disposal advice. In July 2006, Alex moved to Spectrum Investment Management Limited as an Investment Manager. At Spectrum, they worked in the Investment & Asset Management team which was responsible for in excess of £450 million worth of property assets, predominantly in the retail and leisure sector. In May 2011, Alex joined Addington Capital LLP as Partner. Alex was responsible for the Investment/Asset Management of circa £300 million UK Shopping Centre Portfolio. Alex was also responsible for the Asset Management and disposal of circa £200 million worth of UK High Street Retail/Leisure Portfolio. Alex has been with Global Net Lease since October 2018 and is currently the Vice President of Investments.

Alex Wagstaff graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a BSc (Hons) in Estate Surveying. Alex has worked in the field of estates surveying for several years and is currently a registered chartered surveyor.

Their manager is James L. Nelson, President & CEO. They are on a team with Brian Mansouri - Senior Vice President, Investments, Christopher Masterson - Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary, and Jason Slear - Executive Vice President, Acquisitions.
