Shawn J is a seasoned broadcast engineer and audio operator with extensive experience in live audio mixing and technical direction for various prominent organizations, including Global News and ET Canada. Since March 2016, Shawn has played a vital role in ensuring high-quality audio for multiple live shows, utilizing advanced equipment such as Calrec and Riedel & RTS intercom systems, and achieving Dante certification. Previous roles include web production for the National Lacrosse League and technical direction for Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, showcasing a strong background in sports broadcasting. Additionally, Shawn operated a small business and provided video webinar services for non-profit organizations. Educational credentials include a degree in Television Production from Toronto Film School and several certifications in audiovisual communications.
