Davor Marinkovic

Davor Marinkovic is a seasoned maritime professional with extensive experience in dynamic positioning operations. Currently serving as SDPO on the 7th Generation DRILLSHIP DP3 “ABDULHAMID HAN” at Global Offshore Engineering since September 2022, Marinkovic has previously held positions as DPO on notable vessels including the 6th Generation DRILLSHIP DP3 “STENA ICEMAX” at Stena Drilling and the 6th Generation DRILLSHIP DP3 “KANUNI” at Global Offshore Engineering. Additional roles include working with McDermott International, Ltd on the PLV/DSV/OCV DP2 “AMAZON,” and with Fugro on the OCV/CL/ROV DP2 “GLOBAL SYMPHONY.” Marinkovic began the maritime career as DPO on PSV DP2 “NS ELIDA” for BP and has a foundation in the industry with earlier positions at O. H. Meling & Co AS and E.R. Offshore. Marinkovic holds a Bachelor's Degree from Maritime University in Split, completed in 2012, and a high school diploma from Maritime High School in Split, obtained in 2008.
