James works on increasing political support for agriculture data with the Rome-based UN Agencies and diplomatic community by fostering collaboration among like-minded countries and partners to push for changes that will enable them to strengthen their data and statistics efforts. James has over ten years of experience in international agricultural policy research, engagement, and advocacy. He holds a BSc. from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, an MSc. in Environmental Governance from the University of Freiburg (Germany), and is completing a Ph.D. in Agricultural Sciences at the Center for Development Research (ZEF) at the University of Bonn (Germany).
