Eric Fish has worked in a variety of roles in the legal and scientific fields since 2005. Eric began their career as a Student Research Intern at Sandia National Laboratories, where they worked with chemists and physicists in research centered on the synthesis and characterization of metal oxides and magnetic nanoparticles. Eric also participated in the design, construction, and testing of a portable air isolation chamber for attachment to Transmission Electron Microscopes, and maintained inventory of laboratory chemicals and supplies. In 2007, Fish began studying for their JD/LLM in Intellectual Property at the Franklin Pierce Law Center (now University of New Hampshire School of Law). From 2008 to 2009, they worked as a Westlaw Student Representative for Pierce Law, assisting law students with legal research in the Westlaw computer databases and assisting professors and student organizations with setup and implementation of Westlaw’s TWEN classroom platform. In 2009, Fish worked as a Summer IP Associate at Oliff & Berridge, PLC, where they prosecuted patents in the chemical, electro-chemical, pharmaceutical, and mechanical arts, conducted multiple in-person interviews at the USPTO with Examiners, and performed research for a major patent litigation case involving generic pharmaceuticals. From 2010 to 2011, Fish worked as a Patent Attorney at Stoneman Law Patent Group. Eric then worked as a Patent Attorney and Research Director at Global Patent Solutions LLC from 2012 until present.
Eric Fish completed their Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of New Mexico in 2007. Following this, they attended Franklin Pierce Law Center, graduating with a JD/LLM in Intellectual Property in 2010.
