Anca S. serves as the Vice President & Deputy Chief Privacy Officer for EU at Global Payments Inc., focusing on compliance with Canadian and European Privacy and Data Protection laws since August 2021. Previously, Anca held significant roles in the Organization of Women in International Trade, including President and Co-VP Events, managing networking and informational events for the Ottawa trade community. Anca's legal experience includes working as Counsel at Dentons, specializing in privacy, cybersecurity, and international trade laws, as well as legal counsel positions at Health Standards Organization and Gowling WLG Canada. Anca is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional with an LLM in Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Data Management from Maastricht University and a JD from the University of Ottawa.
