Milan Bednar

Milan Bednar is an experienced professional in product management and financial services, currently serving as the Head of Products and Value Added Services for CEE at Global Payments Inc. since June 2020. Previously, Milan held various leadership roles at Slovenská sporiteľňa from April 2010 to March 2020, including Head of Daily Banking & Deposits Department, where Milan drove significant projects such as achieving €6 million in cost savings and increasing the number of account switches from 200 to 20,000 in two years. Milan also pioneered mobile payments for Google Pay and Apple Pay and developed innovative loyalty programs that significantly boosted client engagement. Earlier career highlights include serving as Chairman of the Executive Board for Združenie pre bankové karty and as Head of Solution Delivery Management at First Data Slovakia, where Milan implemented the first contactless cards and loyalty programs in Central Europe. Milan holds a degree in Economics from Ekonomická univerzita v Bratislave.
