Tim Held

Tim Held currently serves as the Global Chief Information Security Officer at Global Payments Inc. since December 2025, following a 20-year tenure at U.S. Bank where roles included EVP and Chief Information Security Officer. Tim Held has extensive experience leading multidisciplinary information security teams focused on diverse areas including security engineering, incident response, and threat intelligence. Prior positions include Senior Information Security Architect at Fifth Third Bank and various security roles at Jireh Consulting Services and AAA Allied Group. Tim Held has also contributed to academia as an adjunct instructor at the University of Phoenix and holds multiple advanced degrees and certifications in cybersecurity and information assurance from respected institutions.
