April Howe

April Howe is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in organizational management, diversity and inclusion, and career transition consulting. Currently serving as CEO at Crayon Strategies Inc. and Special Advisor for Diversity & Inclusion at Global Philanthropic Inc. (Canada), April has previously held key positions, including Deputy Minister for the Department of Fisheries & Aquaculture and Senior Executive Advisor for the Department of Justice with the Government of Nova Scotia. April has a solid background in human resources, having led the People & Culture Division of the Public Service Commission. Early career experiences include significant roles at KBRS, where April directed career transition practices and consulting services. April holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from the Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary's University and a Coaching Certification from the Career Coach Institute.
