Papa Diop

Papa Diop's work experience begins in 2000 when they worked as an Audit Senior at DELOITTE & TOUCHE, LLP. In this role, they planned audit processes and procedures, reviewed clients' businesses, and advised them on improvements in business practices and finance.

From 2004 to 2006, Diop served as a Senior Associate at The Siegfried Group/PwC, where they performed controls documentation and testing for various clients in connection with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 compliance.

Next, from 2006 to 2010, they worked at the Ford Foundation as an Internal Auditor, performing controls documentation and testing of various key business processes and auditing field offices in Indonesia, Nigeria, and South Africa.

In 2010, Diop joined The Siegfried Group as an Associate Director, serving on PwC engagements and conducting financial statement audits, with a focus on hedge funds and private equity funds.

From 2011 to 2012, they worked at NE Kelly & Associates, LLP as a Senior Consultant.

In 2015, Diop took on two roles simultaneously. Papa became a Controller at BOOM!Health, responsible for all aspects of financial management, and an Adjunct Instructor at NYU School of Professional Studies.

In 2018, they joined the Bronx Parent Housing Network as a CFO and Controller, overseeing financial management and reporting. Papa held this position until 2022.

In 2020, Diop became the Chief Financial Officer at Global Potential, and in 2022, they took on the same role at the 163rd St Improvement Council.

Papa Diop attended Baruch College from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. During the same time period, they also attended Baruch College's School of Public Affairs and obtained a Master of Public Administration degree with a specialization in Nonprofit Administration.
