Sahian Jimenez is an Events Associate at GPCA. She is responsible for the management and execution of in-person and virtual events, including the GPC Conference in partnership with the IFC and the annual GPCA Investors Meeting, alongside the Events team.
Prior to GPCA, Sahian worked as an Administrative Coordinator for Nonprofit Resources where she was responsible for the business management of various nonprofit organizations across the United States. Here, she managed the execution of both in-person and virtual events, newsletters, social media operations and other administrative responsibilities.
Sahian graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, and earned her bachelor’s degree as a double major in Human Rights and International Studies with a focus on Latin America, The Caribbean and Asia. In Hartford, Sahian interned at two nonprofit organizations, Advocacy to Legacy and Connecticut Fair Housing where she developed various project management skills. At Trinity, Sahian took on various leadership roles, including President of the Caribbean Students’ Association where she led programming initiatives for two years. She is Dominican American.
