Robert Kirkpatrick

Robert Kirkpatrick has over 20 years of experience in the technology sector. Robert has held positions ranging from technical services manager to lead architect at Microsoft. In their current role as executive director at Global Pulse, they are responsible for overall technical architecture, tool development, and field implementation of advanced solutions for an expeditionary rapid prototyping team.

Kirkpatrick has a strong background in developing prototypes to address challenges in disaster management, humanitarian relief, global development, conflict resolution, human trafficking, civil-military operations, and human rights. Robert also has extensive experience in custom Lotus Notes programming, support, remote server administration, and training. In addition to their work at Global Pulse, Kirkpatrick also serves on the board of directors for InSTEDD.

Kirkpatrick attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they studied Greek and Latin and earned their B.A. Robert then went on to participate in Harvard University's Special Students Program.
