Peter West currently serves as a Team Lead and Senior Software Developer at Global Relay since February 2023. Previously, Peter held the position of Software Engineer at Synthace from January 2020 to January 2023 and worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Southampton from July 2017 to January 2020. In addition, Peter was the Tech Lead at Pinch Medical Systems Limited from July 2013 to January 2020 and briefly served as a Digital Policy Advisor for the Open Innovation Team in early 2018. Peter started a career as a Web Developer at the Open Data Institute in 2012. Academically, Peter obtained a PhD in Health Science and a Master of Engineering in Computer Science, both from the University of Southampton, with the latter degree completed in 2013.
