Peyton Yu

Peyton Yu has a diverse work experience, starting in 2008 as a Research Assistant/Engineer at the University of Georgia, where they conducted a comprehensive research project in collaboration with the USDA Specialty Crop Research Initiative. In 2011, Peyton joined Global Resources International and held various technical and business development roles until 2019. In these roles, Peyton provided leadership to the Global RD&E team, steered growth in research and development capabilities, and managed product development and project portfolios. From 2018 to 2021, Peyton served as the Vice President of Commercialization, where they developed commercial strategy, provided cross-functional leadership in commercial operations, and focused on innovation and growth to maximize shareholder value. Currently, Peyton serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Global Resources International.

Peyton Yu holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Strategy, Finance, and Healthcare from Emory University - Goizueta Business School, which was completed from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, Peyton has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering Focus from The University of Georgia, obtained from 2008 to 2020. Peyton also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from China Agricultural University. In terms of certifications, Peyton possesses a Certificate in Channel Management from The Channel Institute, a Certificate in Business of Healthcare from Emory University - Goizueta Business School, a Certified Quality Engineer credential from ASQ, a Six Sigma Black Belt certification also from ASQ, and a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute, obtained in various years.
