Philip Lawson currently serves as the Director of Business Development at Global Rights Compliance, a position held since January 2024. Previously, Philip held the role of Project Director for the Counter Terrorism Legislative Rapid Response Team at the same organization from October 2021 to December 2022. Philip's earlier experience includes significant roles at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, where responsibilities included serving as the Counter Terrorism, Security and Justice Lead and Head of the Counter Terrorism and Serious Crime Unit from December 2014 to April 2020. Philip received a BA (Hons) in Tourism Studies from Bournemouth University, completing the degree between 1989 and 1993, and attended Wolfreton School in Hull from 1982 to 1989.
