Donia Hanaei, M.A., currently serves as a Senior Development Officer at Life University, a position held since August 2024. Previously, Donia worked as a Senior Development Specialist and Development Associate at Asian Americans Advancing Justice - Atlanta from September 2021 to February 2024. Donia participated in the National Civic Impact Fellowship with the Asian American Women's Political Initiative, focusing on the Farsi Language Project to support Farsi speakers in metro Atlanta. Additional experience includes serving as a Harm Reduction Specialist with the Atlanta/Fulton County Pre-Arrest Diversion Initiative and as an AmeriCorps Vista. An early career role involved interning for the Immigrant and Refugee Commission in the Denver Office of Human Rights, where public statements for the Mayor's office were drafted and research conducted on MENA community needs. Donia holds a Master's in International Affairs from the University of North Georgia and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Colorado Boulder.
