Jacob Nørgaard has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Jacob currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Global Risk Management. Prior to this, they held the position of SVP, Head of Finance at Velliv from April 2018 to March 2021, and Chief Risk Officer from August 2016 to March 2018. Before joining Velliv, Jacob was the Head of Investment Management at Codan Forsikring from December 2013 to June 2016. Jacob also worked as a Portfolio Manager, Fixed Income at Skandia Asset Management from March 2011 to November 2013. Jacob started their career at Codan Forsikring - part of RSA Insurance Group, where they served as an Investment Analyst from January 2008 to February 2011, and as an Insurance Salesman from February 2007 to December 2007.
Jacob Nørgaard completed their education with a Leading Strategic Change program from INSEAD in 2019. Jacob also holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management Science from Copenhagen Business School, which they earned from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution from 2006 to 2009. Jacob completed their secondary education at Svendborg Gymnasium from 2002 to 2005.
