Victor Pryamitsyn has extensive experience in scientific research and analysis. Victor worked as a Contractor for the NOAA and as a Scientist for Global Science & Technology, Inc. From 2015 to 2018, they served as a Senior Research Associate at Northwestern University. Prior to that, they were a Research Associate at the University of Texas at Austin from 2002 to 2015. Victor also worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Oregon from 2000 to 2001. Victor began their career as a Senior Scientist at the Institute of Problems of Mechanical Engineering Russian Academy of Sciences in 1987, where they focused on theoretical studies of surface rheology and dispersing processes. Victor worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Leeds UK from 1998 to 2000, studying block copolymers and polymer mixtures. Additionally, Victor served as a Senior Scientist at the Laboratory of Theory and Simulation of Polymer Systems from 1994 to 2000. Victor has also held visiting positions at the University of Bristol and Wageningen Agricultural University.
Victor Pryamitsyn began their education in 1968, pursuing advanced education in Physics and Mathematics at 30. Victor then went on to earn their first Master's degree in Physics from Saint Petersburg State University from 1978 to 1984. During the same period, they also obtained a second Master's degree in Mathematical Physics and Polymer Physics with a specialization in Computer Simulation from Leningrad State University. Continuing their academic journey, Pryamitsyn pursued a PhD in Physics and Mechanics of Polymers at the Institute of Macromolecular Compounds from 1984 to 1987.
