Debesh Bhanja started their work experience as a Sales Marketing Executive at Green India E-Waste And Recycling OPC Pvt. Ltd. in October 2011, where they worked till December 2012. Debesh then worked as a Senior Marketing Executive at Citicon Builders from January 2013 to January 2014. Following this, they worked at Utkal Builders as a Senior Marketing Executive from February 2014 to December 2015. In 2016, they founded Global Solar Energy and has been working there as the Founder since January 2016.
Debesh Bhanja received a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Business/Commerce from Utkal University between 2006-2009. Later, from 2009-2011, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Biju Patnaik University of Technology in Odisha.

Founded in 1996, Global Solar Energy Inc. delivers lightweight and portable photovoltaic (PV) materials for integration in commercial, residential, utility-scale and government applications. Currently, the company operates a Tucson, Arizona facility with a production capacity of 40 megawatts.In Tucson, Global Solar partnered with Solon tocreate a 750 kilowatt (kW) solar array, the largest CIGS solar field in the US.Global Solar is the only manufacturer in full-scale production of CIGS (Copper Indium Gallium diSelenide) PV cells on a flexible substrate. Depositing CIGS on flexible stainless-steel substrate via a roll-to-roll process, the company’s innovative manufacturing decreases costs by streamlining production, increasing throughput, and improving material utilization. Global Solar’s lower cost is opening up new and alternative markets where solar hasn’t been a viable option in the past, such as BIPV, helping to drive the solar market into the next level of innovation, adoption and affordability
