Douglas Davidson

Douglas Davidson is an experienced technology and quality assurance professional, currently serving as a Member of the Advisory Team at the Global South Professional & Economic Network since July 2024, where efforts focus on empowering the Global South through ethical AI and resilient digital solutions. Previously, Douglas held significant roles including Software Test Lead at National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited, overseeing QA teams and managing comprehensive testing strategies, and Quality Assurance Analyst Consultant at JMMB Group Jamaica, where contributions were made to critical banking transition projects. A background in development includes positions as a Software Developer at Digicel Group and a Software Solutions Developer at Victoria Mutual Group. Douglas holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of the West Indies and a Post Graduate Certificate in Internet Systems from the University of Liverpool, alongside participation in Y Combinator's startup school.
