Sophie Borra is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Vice President at Global Sovereign Advisory since October 2020, where responsibilities include advising States and State-owned entities on strategic economic and policy matters. Prior to this role, Sophie worked as Country Risk Manager and Country Risk Analyst at Rabobank from April 2018 to September 2020, focusing on economic risk assessment within the RaboResearch Global Economics & Markets team. Sophie's early career includes an Economist Trainee position at the European Central Bank and research roles at Rabobank Groep and Oaklins Netherlands. Academically, Sophie holds multiple Master of Science degrees in Economics from the University of Amsterdam and the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne and is pursuing further studies at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and the National University of Singapore.
