Katherine Johnston is a highly experienced professional in the fields of research and economics, currently serving as a Senior Research Fellow/Consultant at the Global Wellness Institute since April 2015. With over ten years at the organization, Katherine has co-led ten major studies focusing on the global wellness industry utilizing innovative research methods. Prior to this role, Katherine served as a Senior Economist at SRI International for over 17 years, where expertise was applied in conducting economic competitiveness studies, industry cluster development, and program evaluations across the United States and internationally. Katherine holds a Master of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from Sweet Briar College.
