Ioana Matei

Ioana Matei is an experienced communications professional with a focus on climate, energy, and environment. Currently serving as Campaigns Team Lead at the Global Strategic Communications Council since July 2023, Ioana has co-founded La Grisha, a local gastronomic establishment offering traditional fish-based dishes made with seasonal ingredients. With a strong background in strategic communications, Ioana worked with the European Climate Foundation from January 2018 to July 2023 as a Senior Digital Associate and has held various roles in citizen science initiatives, including at Let's Do It Foundation and the Joint Research Centre - European Commission. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Anthropology from Scoala Nationala de Studii Politice si Administrative and two Master's degrees in Environmental Science from Universitatea OVIDIUS din Constanta.
