Vitaly Zmetnyy has extensive work experience in the legal field. Vitaly started their career as a Paralegal at Northern Shipping Company, where they drafted claims and agreements and conducted legal research on shipping matters. Vitaly then worked as an Advocate's Assistant at Advocates' bureau "Samoilov, Tolpegin and partners", where they reviewed contracts, provided legal consultations, and represented clients before the Russian Federal Service for Financial Markets. Later, Zmetnyy served as the Director of Small Business at ArkhBusinessConsult, managing the company and analyzing the regional insurance market. Vitaly then joined Belomortrans as an In-house Legal Counsel, where they coordinated the company's regional branches and reviewed forwarding contracts and insurance policies. Afterwards, Zmetnyy worked as the Leading In-house Legal Counsel at Magnezit Group, focusing on legal review, litigation, and representation before Russian state authorities. Later, they became the In-House Legal Counsel at METALLOINVEST TRADING AG, structuring commercial transactions and handling complex contractual relations. Most recently, Zmetnyy has been working at Global Supply Chain Finance Ltd. (GSCF) as the Head Legal & Compliance, where they lead and manages the Legal & Compliance department, drafts and negotiates agreements, participates in compliance activities, and provides legal advice and risk assessment to senior management.

Vitaly Zmetnyy received their Specialist degree in Law from Pomorsk State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, where they studied from 2004 to 2009.
