Doug Parton has extensive experience in human resources, holding various leadership roles throughout their career. Doug is currently the Human Resources Director at Global Support and Development. Doug Parton holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Human Resources and Organizational Development, which they obtained from Eastern Michigan University in 2011. Doug also earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General and Political Economy from Spring Arbor University in 2005. In 2003, Doug participated in the Latin American Studies Program, focusing on International Business and Spanish. Furthermore, they received a General Studies Diploma from Plymouth Christian Academy in 2001. In terms of certifications, Doug obtained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation from SHRM in 2015, and they are expected to complete the Safeguarding Essentials and FIELD Safeguarding certifications in 2023 from the Humanitarian Leadership Academy and Save the Children International, respectively. Doug also has a Foundation Certificate from the IPA (Institute of Practitioners in Advertising).
