Michael Court has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Michael started their career as a Foundation Doctor at Frimley Park Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in 2010. Michael then joined the UK Ministry of Defence in 2010, where they served as a Doctor and gained extensive experience in medical planning and delivering primary care and prehospital emergency care in various challenging environments. In 2013, they became a Regimental Medical Officer for the 9th/12th Royal Lancers, responsible for providing high-quality care to the unit in both operational and austere settings. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a GP trainee in the British Army. In 2019, they joined Harvard Medical School as a Senior Research Fellow. Currently, they hold the role of Chief Medical Officer and Chief Executive Officer at Global Support and Development, starting in 2021 and continuing to the present. Alongside their professional roles, they also serve as a Faculty member at Harvard Medical School, starting in 2021.

Michael Court begins their education at the University of Exeter from 2000 to 2003, majoring in History and obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree. Michael then attends the University of Bristol, where they study Medicine from 2004 to 2010, earning a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) degree. In 2013, they complete a Diploma in the Medical Management of Catastrophies at the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries, focusing on Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management and Medicine. Michael Court further enhances their medical expertise by obtaining a Diploma in Immediate Medical Care at the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 2016, specializing in Pre-Hospital Emergency Care. Later that same year, they pursue a Master of Science degree in Disaster Medicine at the Università degli Studi del Piemonte Orientale, completing it in 2019. Michael Court also engages in research as a Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School, specializing in Disaster Medicine from 2019 to 2020. Additionally, during this period, they focus on Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management at Harvard Medical School.
