Marcos Portela Mozos

Marcos Portela Mozos is an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in electrical engineering and renewable energy. Currently, at Global Switch since July 2020, Marcos oversees the execution and delivery of projects in Madrid, managing all aspects of planning, implementation, performance, monitoring, and control. Prior experience includes managing high voltage line projects at SEMI, SA from March 2017 to July 2020, and serving as a Project Manager Junior in the same organization. An internship at Gas Natural Fenosa provided valuable exposure to medium and low voltage electricity projects. Early career work involved conducting a feasibility study for a wind farm at IPOSTAR Comercializacion. Marcos holds a Master of Electrical Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and degrees in Energy Engineering from both Universidad de León and Università degli Studi di Perugia, complemented by training in entrepreneurship focused on energy efficiency.
