Simone McKnight

Simone McKnight is currently working as a Senior Human Factors Engineer at Global Systems Technologies, Inc. and as a Human Factors Engineer at Google through Nelson Connects. With a PhD in Human Factors & Applied Cognition in Psychology from George Mason University, Simone has a strong background in research, teaching, and consulting. From conducting labs and research in psychology to consulting on Trust in Automation at the TSA, Simone's experience spans various industries and roles. Additionally, Simone has instructed undergraduate and graduate courses at George Mason University, Northern Virginia Community College, and Crespi Carmelite High School. With a focus on integrating human factors principles into different settings, Simone's expertise in psychology and research make them a valuable asset in bridging the gap between human behavior and technology.
