Matthew Fischer

Matthew Fischer has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Matthew started their career as an Associate at Salomon Smith Barney in 1999 and then worked as a Sales Trader at Bear Stearns from 2003 to 2004. In 2005, they worked as a Research Sales professional at both Virtua Research and M.S. Howells & Co. Fischer then joined Fidelity Investments in 2006, where they held various roles, including Vice President - Electronic Equity Sales and Vice President Institutional Equity Sales. From 2020 to 2023, they served as Vice President, Business Development at Fidelity Investments, focusing on sales and business development for Fidelity Capital Markets products and execution services. Fischer is currently the Managing Director of Institutional Sales at GTS since 2023. Their expertise spans across a wide range of financial products and services, such as equity trading, prime brokerage, securities lending, custody, derivatives, syndicate, FX, and fixed income.
