Hashan Wijeratne

Hashan Wijeratne is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in information security and software development. Currently serving as the Lead DevSecOps Engineer cum Information Security Officer at Wavenet since August 2018, Hashan is responsible for the advancement of the information security framework and ensuring the integration of security in development processes. Prior to this role, Hashan worked as a VAS Engineer at ZTE Corporation, focusing on the Mobitel CRBT project, and as a Freelance Software Developer on Fiverr. Hashan has also contributed to effective software solutions as a Software Engineer at Effective Solutions Pvt Ltd and gained foundational experience as a Software Engineering Trainee at IJSE and Ceylon Linux. Education credentials include a Master’s degree in Cyber Security from Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Information Engineering from the University of Ruhuna.
