Beibei Yin

Beibei Yin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environmental advocacy and policy. As the Founder of Bambu Consulting since August 2021, Beibei Yin has focused on guiding changemakers to understand China’s role in global sustainability efforts. In addition, Beibei Yin has served as a Senior Advocacy and Policy Advisor at Global Witness since November 2016, leading campaigns to reduce Chinese financing for deforestation and addressing illegal timber consumption through significant legislative revisions in China. Beibei Yin's previous roles include Senior Campaigner at Global Witness, where complex research on global supply chains was undertaken, and Policy Analyst at the Environmental Investigation Agency, contributing to significant changes in wildlife and timber trade laws in China. Beibei Yin's journalistic experience includes a reporting position at The Bureau of Investigative Journalism.
