Laurence Duprat

Laurence Duprat possesses extensive experience in international development and policy advocacy, currently serving as Senior Adviser for Global Partnerships and Civil Society at Global Witness since March 2017, following roles as Senior Policy Adviser and Campaigner focused on forests, finance, and climate issues. Previous positions include Africa Programme Manager and Rights and Legal Capacity Building Programme Coordinator at Rainforest Foundation UK, overseeing donor-funded projects and representing the organization at external events. Earlier experience includes local development with Amazonian National Park, support for UNHCR as a Protection Officer Assistant, and project coordination at the French Embassy in the Dominican Republic. Laurence holds two Master's Degrees in Political Science and International Relations with Sustainable Development from Sciences Po Bordeaux, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences.
