Michael Squires is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in software development and architecture. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Global Worldwide since June 2019, Squires previously held the same title at KIXEYE from February 2013 to June 2019, where responsibilities included designing a multi-tenant game economy service. As the Owner and Developer of Club Scion tC from January 2005 to July 2022, Squires managed a social network for auto enthusiasts. Additional roles include Senior Software Engineer positions at Mashery and Discovery Communications, where expertise in PHP, MySQL, and front-end development was demonstrated. Squires co-founded Vaelio, Inc., contributing to the development of server software and a PHP5/JS MVC framework. Early career roles at IBM and Intel further showcased skills in database management and application development. Squires studied at Frostburg State University between 2003 and 2006.
