Soile Hammargård

Soile Hammargård has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Soile currently serves as the Vice President & Chief Procurement Officer at GlobalConnect, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, Soile worked at Telia from 2016 to 2023, holding various senior director roles in IT Strategic Sourcing, Sweden Sourcing, and Sourcing for Regions LED & Eurasia. Before Telia, they worked as the Head of Business Strategy at Skanova and as a Senior Transformation Adviser at Procurement Europe. Soile also gained experience at Scandinavian Purchasing Group as a Senior Consultant and at Progorex Ltd as a Lead Consultant and Associate Consultant. Soile started their career at CPS Color Group Oy, where they worked as the Head of Procurement, Business Unit Colorants, and as a Procurement Manager and Project Manager in Global Colorants and Global Sourcing respectively. Additionally, Soile has worked as a Project Worker at Helecon Information Center, and as a Secretary for Cultural Affairs at the Student Union of the Helsinki School of Economics. Soile began their career as a Bank Employee at Nordea.

Soile Hammargård completed a Strategic Procurement Management Program at Stockholm School of Economics Executive Education in 2019. Prior to that, they pursued a M.Sc.(Econ.) degree from Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu between 2002 and 2008, with a focus on Economic geography, Accounting, and Marketing.
